1. General Information

Our hosting services are designed for the operation of websites. The utilisation of resources should be within normal requirements to ensure an optimal experience for all customers.

2. Fair Use for Unlimited Resources

The following "unlimited" resources are available to you, but should be used within reasonable limits:

  • Databases (size)
  • Subdomains (quantity)
  • Free SSL Certificates (quantity)
  • Email Addresses (quantity)
  • Maximum Mailbox Size
  • Data Traffic (bandwidth)

2.1 Databases

Databases can be used without a fixed limit as long as the memory consumption and utilisation meet the requirements of a typical website operation. This ensures that performance remains at a high level for all customers.

2.2 Subdomains

The ability to set up subdomains without limitation should allow you to structure your website flexibly. Utilisation that differs greatly from the typical framework can have an impact on system stability.

2.3 Free SSL Certificates

Free SSL certificates are intended for subdomains that actively link to hosting content. Extensive use for pure redirects or inactive domains should be avoided in order to make efficient use of resources.

2.4 Email Addresses

Any number of email addresses can be set up to organise private or business communication efficiently. However, usage should remain within normal limits. In particular, the number of forwardings and the creation of multiple addresses for a single mailbox should be proportionate to ensure server stability.

2.5 Maximum Mailbox Size

The size of individual mailboxes can be freely selected up to the maximum mailbox size defined in the respective hosting package. The sum of the mailbox sizes used may not exceed the total storage space contained in the package. This enables flexible and needs-based utilisation of resources within the defined limits.

2.6 Data Traffic (bandwidth)

Unlimited data traffic is provided for the regular operation of your website. If your project has unusual requirements, please contact us so that we can find a suitable solution.

3. Notes on Usage

To ensure the best possible service for all customers, please take the following aspects into consideration:

  • Services that are specifically designed for the distribution of large amounts of data (e.g. file hosting or video streaming) should not be realised via shared hosting.
  • Resource-intensive automated processes can impair system stability and should be reduced to a minimum.
  • Please ensure that your content complies with the legal requirements and our general terms and conditions.

4. Measures for Exceptional Usage

If your use of resources is unusually high and has an impact on overall system performance, we reserve the right to take the following measures:

  • We contact you to find a solution together.
  • Temporary restriction of resources or services to ensure the stability of the system.
  • In serious or repeated cases, we reserve the right to cancel the contract.

5. Adjustments to the Policy

In order to guarantee a consistently high quality of service, we can adapt this policy if necessary. We will communicate any changes transparently and in good time.
