A domain transfer is the process that is initiated when you transfer a domain to easyname. Please note that you need the AuthCode (transfer token) for the transfer. You can find a little information about the AuthCode here
You can find out the AuthCode from your current provider (usually via the respective panel).
If you don't know who your current provider is, you can carry out a WHOIS query. The provider is displayed here.
It is important that the domain status allows a transfer. This can also be checked using a WHOIS query. If the status clientTransferProhibited appears there, the transfer is currently blocked.
The transfer block can be lifted with the current provider.
The transfer takes place at different speeds depending on the respective domain. This can take a few minutes to a maximum of 5 working days. Please plan ahead of us and do not transfer the domain just before the expiration date.
Please note that newly registered ICANN domains such as .COM, .NET, .ORG, INFO generally cannot be transferred within 60 days.
Special TLD endings
For certain TLD endings, transfer with an AuthCode is not possible. A TAG will be required here, which you must enter with your current provider.
The TAG of easyname is ASCIO. The transfer will then be initiated automatically here.
